Forward by Paul Pizzolo.

My name is Paul Pizzolo and these are thoughts and insights I have gained through my experiences in life. To an outsider I am seen as a very content human being, however to those that know me this is not the case.

As a teenager I toped the grade at one of Melbournes most prestigious private schools, represented Australia for tennis and clicked my fingers for any girl I wanted.

However on the inside I was a wounded soldier trying to win the battle of depression. I was diagnosed to suffer Manic Depression or commonly known as Bi-Polar. After my mothers death, happiness was erratic and these poems help me to elucidate to others on how you deal with "it" that sets you apart.

"Telling it how it is" is literature that we can all relate to and become stronger people when confronting the issues I write about in my poetry.
