Opposites

When we are young
Its cool to be cool,
Drink and drugs,
While we are at school.

But as you grow older,
Our thoughts are bi-polar.
Different priorities
Some people get colder.

Education and job,
Don't look like a slob,
Mind over matter,
Don't fall off life's ladder.

Respect comes with age,
Despite public rage.
Find spirituality in the bible
Turn over the page.

Don't be presumptuous,
Too bold you can be,
However, have an opinion,
That no one can foresee.

Our brain is your soul,
Tender care it needs,
Its like a stomach,
It needs to have feeds

So when considering your path,
Don't fall in the trap,
Study as you may,
And you receive a wrap.
