My Best Mate

What is your nickname?
I know it as Rat!
For your pointy ears
And being such a brat.

We love to fight
My apology too late.
But I know one thing
Your my best mate.

I look up to you,
Even though you are short.
You have good morals
Which Rick has taught.

I know I can be trouble
And thanks for being you,
Considerate you are
And hopefully I am too.

You are very smart,
Despite being young.
You are honest
You never bite your tongue.

Happy Birthday buddy
There are plenty more to come.
Have a drink
A beer or rum.
